Potato Sack Chairs
This is just sooo unique and creative I just had to share! This is a fabulous way to add texture and character to any space! And the best part is, it's super inexpensive. Just pick up some old potato sacks at your local antique shop or thrift shop and pull out the staple gun and you've got yourself a new set of chairs for under $10 in under 30 minutes! That's my kind of decorating!
Feeling Cluttered?
Feel like your console table in your entryway is getting a little too cluttered with lamps, picture frames, candles, etc? Ditch the lamps and replace them with sconces! Also, try adding a tray to round up stray junk like keys, wallets, sunglasses and spare change.
Welcome, hello!
This blog is going to showcase tips and techniques of decorating the average home as well as room makeovers and antique furniture restoring/refinishing. I will show you how to take ordinary things in your home and turn them into unique pieces that might just be the finishing touch on creating a space you can enjoy. I hope you all will come along with me on this journey as I learn, create and (hopefully) inspire.
